A SUPERB RAJ KAPOOR-NUTAN film with superb songs of MUKESH-LATA and superb music by SHANKER-JAIKISHEN. Won lots of awards.

The opening piece of musical notes of the song is perhaps the most “up lifting ” tune I have had the pleasure to listen to from the countless melodious Hindi film songs that I have heard over the years. The only other song having a similar effect I can think of is the opening piece from Ramaiyya Vasta vaiyya ” from Sri 420

ANARI won so many awards. Mukesh,Raj Kapoor,Shailendra,SHANKER-JAIKISHEN.Hrishikesh Mukherjee, all got FILFARE awards. Fantastic music.
